Ingredients

1 pound fresh green beans
2 cups cherry tomatoes
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps

  1. Rinse and snap ends off of green beans. Rinse cherry tomatoes and cut in half.
  2. Cook green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes until they are tender, but still crisp. Drain and rinse beans with cold water.
  3. For the vinaigrette, combine lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Whisk.
  4. Combine green beans, cherry tomatoes, and vinaigrette. Mix well.
