Ingredients

2 cups cabbage (shredded)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 onion (chopped)

8 ounces collard greens (washed, stems removed, shredded)

1 tablespoon vinegar

Steps

  1. Fill a pot halfway with water. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add collard greens, let water return to a boil, and cook for 3 minutes. Add cabbage and cook 1 more minute. Drain well.
  3. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until light brown, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add greens, garlic powder, and vinegar to the skillet and stir well. Cook until most moisture is evaporated, about 1 minute.
